THE CHUNKY EXPERIENCE

For my birthday I decided to do something out of the norm. Some prefer a party, dinner, or lunch with friends, I decided to take a Chunky Knitting class. Several years ago I attempted the general knitting process with a stick, and I was like forget that!!!! I am so good at many things, but the process was just to tedious for my brain, so I decided to let that one go.

Last year I was in Michaels and I came across a book about chunky knitting. The idea of knitting something with your hands only and no sticks required intrigued me. I was interested right away, and began my research to see if there is a class I could take to assist me in achieving this goal.

And then there was the AR Workshop! (the heaven’s are ringing… Ahhhhhhh) I came across their site and noticed that they have various workshop locations in my area. They also have an array of projects that you can choose to sign up for. The atmosphere is so serene and amazing that I was in my element 100000000%. By the time I was done with my blanket I left, drove straight to the craft store, and purchased more yarn, went home and made another blanket. LOL!
