The Woman in the Mirror

Launching December 8, 2025
Hello, friends! đź’•
I’m so excited to share something that has been close to my heart for quite some time — my new women’s devotional titled The Woman in the Mirror: Search Me, O God. This project has been in the making for a while, and every page reflects a piece of my personal journey — a mix of life experiences, heartfelt prayers, and quiet moments with God where I simply asked Him to help me with my heart.
We all have a woman in the mirror that we want to change — a reflection of who we are and who we’re becoming. But true change begins in the heart. ❤️ This devotional invites you to take a heart inventory — a thought closet cleanout — releasing the things that no longer serve you and making room for what brings value, peace, and purpose. It’s about replacing worry with worship, bitterness with forgiveness, and heaviness with hope.
✨ The Heart Behind the Devotional
As women, we carry so much within our hearts — love, hope, dreams, but also disappointments, fears, and burdens we don’t always recognize right away. Sometimes, those unseen weights quietly hinder us from growing spiritually and fully living in the peace God intends for us.
This devotional was born out of my own conversations with God, where I laid bare the parts of myself I didn’t always understand — the parts that needed healing, forgiveness, and release. It’s a journey of reflection, surrender, and spiritual renewal — a space to say, “Lord, search me. Show me what’s in my heart, and help me become more like You.”
💗 What You’ll Find Inside
Throughout The Woman in the Mirror, you’ll find:
Scriptures for Reflection — guiding verses from the King James Version that speak directly to the heart.
At-Home Reflections — journaling prompts and practical exercises designed to help you pause and process your thoughts in God’s presence.
Heart Moments — gentle reminders that healing and growth take time, but God is always near.
Beautiful Illustrations and Symbolism — each image is thoughtfully placed to represent transformation, renewal, and grace.
“As you turn the pages, you might notice the small spots scattered throughout. Those aren’t just design details — they represent the spots and wrinkles the Bible speaks of. They serve as a gentle reminder that we all have areas in our lives that God continues to refine, cleanse, and make new.
“That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” — Ephesians 5:27 (KJV)”
Change doesn’t happen overnight — and that’s okay. Every day is a step closer to transformation when we choose to do the work: to pray, to reflect, to forgive, and to allow God to shape our hearts. The beauty of this journey is that He meets us right where we are and walks with us every step of the way.
Whether you choose to walk through this devotional individually or alongside a group of women, my prayer is that it becomes a safe space — a mirror where you can see not only your reflection but also God’s redeeming love shining back at you.
đź’• My Prayer for You
I pray that this devotional touches your heart and opens your spirit to the beautiful work God desires to do within you. May it encourage you to have those honest conversations with Him — the ones that bring peace, clarity, and healing.
Sometimes, the most powerful transformation begins with a simple whisper:
“Search me, O God.”
With love and light,
Mirisha
