One Word

Hello beauties!

I hope that you are enjoying your day! I can't believe that April is gone already! Time is really passing by. So, today while I was going through photos for todays look I was trying to figure out one word to describe this outfit. There were so many that I couldn't even narrow it down. So I'll let you come up with it, (smile).

This scuba fabric, striped skirt by Bisou Bisou, can be purchased at JCPENNY. I was introduced and fell in love with scuba fabric last year. To me, this fabric can be worn year round. It'll keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter! I have also fallen in love with a cape. This black cape I found at ELOQUII is just lovely and I recommend that you add this piece to your wardrobe. It is light, airy, and easy to move around in. I have found that this also works as a quick grab when you are walking (or running) out the door.  I paired this outfit with these heels by Nine West, which are absolutely comfy. And lastly, I accessorized with these brooches by Bauble Bar, and my bag is by ALDO

As I thought of one word to describe this ootd, I was thinking of one word that God would describe of me. You see, walking through this life and being a representative of the Apostolic faith, I often take time to self examine my walk with Christ and think of how I may be viewed. In prayer I always ask, "Lord, am I doing what you ask of me fully? Am I upholding the values that you have left in place through your word so that others may see you in me and be drawn to you?" Though I do not, and will never confess to walk in perfection, I always pray that I can identify my imperfections, learn from, and work on them. Because at the end of the day, when all is said and done, when my time is over here on this earth and I stand before God I want him to have one word to say of me. That he is PLEASED.
